About this map
The fifteen agro-climatic zones plus the GI farm products tied to them, from Basmati to Mithila makhana. Each marker is a zone's representative point; the fact lists its signature GI crops.
Zones are asked as count and classification (who demarcated them, on what basis: rainfall, temperature, soil). GI products are asked as product-to-state matching with deliberately close options.
This is a planning-commission legacy topic that refuses to die in the exam. Fix the zone count (15) and the GI logic (place-linked quality), and the questions answer themselves.
