About this map
India's Ramsar wetlands, the full list as of the latest additions. Each marker names the state, the wetland type, and the Montreux Record status where it applies.
With over a hundred sites, the exam cannot ask them all: it asks the records (largest, first), the Montreux-listed ones (Keoladeo, Loktak), and newsmaker additions.
State counts are asked ("which state has the most Ramsar sites"). Fix the big-number states (Tamil Nadu, Uttar Pradesh) and the famous individuals.
