About this map

The tribes on their home ground, from the Bhil belt to the Shompens of Great Nicobar. Each marker names the states the tribe spans and the one cultural or constitutional tag the exam uses.

Tribe-to-state matching is the core format, with PVTGs (Particularly Vulnerable Tribal Groups) as a special list. Polyandry, matriliny and shifting-cultivation names are asked as tribe identifiers.

Constitutional angles recur: Fifth versus Sixth Schedule areas, and which tribes the exam lists under PVTG status. Newsmaker tribes (tribal universities, habitat rights) refresh the topic.
